Can't say I'll ever watch it again, but a truly powerful, infuriating film. You'll be saying "Why didn't they just hang up?!?" for days after.

HOLY SHITBALLS YOU GUYS!!! THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME!!! Great, gonzo action and a fuck you all attitude..If Gaspar Noé took a Delorean back to the 80's & made a Cannon film, he would have directed UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING. WOW.

Didn't see this coming....DREDD was a fantastic (and faithful to a fault) recreation of an"issue" of the 2000 A.D. Comics. Violent to all hell, DREDD had the gleefully reckless abandon and smirk that ROBOCOP had in 87, a fun attitude even when shit gets dark. Urban & Thirlby got it. The Slo Mo shots are insane. This will be on all our shelves one day.

The New Blu-Ray is AWESOME, long overdue. Sure, its a little campy, but Roddy is strong & stoic as the underdog hero, the political message is wonderfully woven like a subliminal message, Keith David is killer, "the fight" and this has more quotable lines than Colbert Report. The commentary on this is old (from 2001) but very informative. A must buy.
