Being There 1979
maybe my all time favorite film. peter sellers gives an amazing performance. the entire film is both hilarious and deeply moving at the same time. is chance a genius or a fool? every scene is very subtle in showing that it could be either way. great supporting cast as well. melvyn douglass in particular. this is such a fantastic film, yet i like to turn it off before the ending. i don't want to say that it ruins the film because you can't really base your opinions on 1 scene, but i think the ending takes so much away.

nicolas cage is great. interesting performance to watch. the plot was a bit predictable, but everyone was great really. love sam rockwell.
