It's a great idea, and really well done. It never really lives up the premise though.

I know it came first, and I know they are both based on a true story, but isn't this a lot like Bronson?

Both also contain amazing performances in the title roles.

I really enjoyed the trilogy. I think this final installment is flawed (in my opinion the pacing meant it never felt like anything was building, there was so much plot the dialogue became functional rather than natural and there were a few clunky bits), but I still really enjoyed it. It looks beautiful (+1 for Wally Pfister) and the acting is fantastic. Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine are brilliant in this.

While the action is very very well done, for me, it lacked enough in terms of an emotional story.
