Mark Robinson’s review:
The second time seeing this film from beginning to end and im still left impressed by its amazing cinematography and style.
Theres this feeling throughout the film of closeness to the characters, where you feel as if you just happen to be there as events are unfolding. Despite being (almost) entirely black and white, the frames just feel so warm, and i find myself wishing i was in Buenos Aires right now. Everything just seems so cool.
I just hope that next time i watch it, i have a bottle of whiskey and a few cigarettes at hand.
