A Good Day to Die Hard 2013
An abysmal mess of a film that bears only a slight passing resemblance to the bloodied, dessicated corpse of the Die Hard franchise. Just terrible.

Birdemic: Shock and Terror 2008
Ham-fisted, and poorly made are an extreme understatement for this. It's "The Birds", if it were directed by a retarded parakeet.

Headhunters 2012
"Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'"This is Roger Brown's theme song. And I couldn't be happier. This is one of the most enjoyable thrillers I've seen in a long time.

I Bury The Living 1958
"Heart disease is the country's number one killer"
"Maybe not in Milford."A really interesting, albeit simple, Twilight Zone-esque film. I love small scale "stories" like this. Despite it's obvious lack of budget, it succeeds in creating an eerie atmosphere in which something like this seems plausible, or at least makes sense, in it's own way. Not without it's shortcomings, but ultimately, I found this very enjoyable.

Kill List 2011
Huh?
What in the world did I just watch? There's a good film buried in here somewhere, just gotta navigate Daedalus' labyrinth to find it. I'm not entirely sure I understood it completely either, which is either my fault or the film's. I'm not sure which at this point.
One thing's certain: watch it blind.

Let Me In 2010
Remakes exist for one of several reasons. The only real reasons I can think of are: 1. To localize it for another region, and 2. To try and improve upon a lackluster original. Obviously, 2 is not the case here, so it must be 1. I have never had an issue with watching a film in it's original form, so something like this wasn't meant for me. Which puts me in an odd spot when I actually watch one of…

Liquid Rising 2012
The first of many StarCraft II docs to be released, 'Liquid Rising' profiles Team Liquid, one of the most storied SC teams outside of Korea. While it might not offer much to the uninitiated, it is a must see for any fan of competitive SC2. Liquid Fighting!

Magic Mike 2012
If the Oscars had a "Best Film About Male Strippers" category, this would be a lock.

Moonrise Kingdom 2012
Wes Anderson made a Wes Anderson film.
This statement will either excite you or make you roll your eyes. I'm definitely in the former camp here. This was such a fun, well made film, with such a whimsical nature I couldn't dislike it. Some say that his saccharine style is too much, but that doesn't really bother me. I feel like a director like Anderson is needed right now, in a time where Hollywood wants everything to be made with…

Nature Unleashed: Tornado
A film in which a Jon Hamm lookalike punches cultists and tornadoes into submission. Yeah.
