One of my favorite comic movies. I don’t want to go too much in detail in this movie because I don’t really have something to complain about.
The way they give Batman a realistic background work perfect for me. I’m not a friend of the Burton-Batman-movies and I especially did not enjoy not knowing Bruce Wayne back then. (I don’t have to mention the Schuhmacher-movies, have I?)
Everything else: Actors, camerawork, effects, dialoges, costumes is just awesome. This has put the comic movie on a whole new level back then. It showed that you don’t have to convert comics with all it’s strangeness into a movie but you can have a realistic setting so it works better.
So I love this approach. The Nolan trilogie are three great movies and this one startet it so … watch it.
