Most satisfying blockbuster of the year and best Bond film of my lifetime. Won't say much else except, creatively where the hell do they go from here? With craftsmen like Deakins and Mendes involved, they can't go back to a Marc Forster or even a Martin Campbell. Christopher Nolan anyone?
As is often the case with high school movies (yes, i know they're in university), it alternates wildly between sharp and cringeworthy but this offered more laugh-out-loud moments than any other film this year, with the exception of 21 Jump Street. Anna Kendrick is hugely likeable, as always and Rebel Wilson steals just about every scene she's in. Whispering girl was hilarious too. I'm also a sucker for a good song and dance number and naturally this has a few. One minor issue, since when has David Guetta been cool?
