I didn't know what to expect from this film, and was i surprised when afterwards i realized i had just seen one of the best films i've seen in a while.
Williams and Gosling are freaking amazing, thats an understatement if you ask me. She deserved the Oscar IMO and he at least should have been nominated. The chemistry they have is crazy, you might have thought they were in a biopic about their own relationship. Can't say enough good things about this movie...most recommended
I really enjoyed this film. I gave it 3 1/2 stars which is lower than what you gave it, but I still really liked it.
I actually only gave it 4 stars at first viewing. On 2nd watch though, I realized how great this film really was, Ryan Gosling has really become one of my favorite actors, from recent years. And Michelle Williams has been a great actress for quite a few years now. This movie is brilliant IMO.
If you haven't watched the making of featurette, you should check it out. The process they went through to make this film was pretty crazy
