Tony D'Amico’s review:
Wow!!!, I just watched this for the first time since it was released in theaters. I have no idea why i liked this film when i was a teenager. It was fucking brutal, to say the least. The CG was so poorly dated, and i understand that this was the early days og CG, but this was soooo bad. The scenes in hell were laughable, and as a whole it looked like garbage.
I would have thought being written by the creator himself, Todd Macfarlane, it would have had a good story at least, but it was not the case. The acting was about as bad as one can imagine from a comic book movie from the 90's, which is shit. This makes The Green Lantern look like Lawrence of Arabia. John Leguizamo is so brutally annoying, and Michael Jai White shouldn't speak in his films, he should just be an action mute. And I think Martin Sheen must have had to be paid a lot extra to be seen in this pile of shit.
The only thing decent about this film is the soundtrack.
I would rather slit my wrists than watch this again
