Teen Wolf 1985

Tony D'Amico’s review:
One of the classic 80's teen comedies, probably one of my favorites of the genre. It's been a minimum of 12 years since I have watched this in full, and I gotta admit, I enjoyed returning to this film a lot. Even though it is cheesy as hell, it reminds me of my childhood. And maybe that makes my opinion about films from the 80's or just films in general that remind me of my past, a little biased in favor of them. I will admit that the film isn't great, but i'm sure most movie lovers around my age(32) enjoy this film.
One of the best things about Teen Wolf is that it is Michael J Fox at his best. Not a great actor in his youth (or even in his adulthood), he is pretty funny in this. He performs greatly as a confused teen. I think it's the mixture of his higher pitched voice, and his extremely young face, he was actually 24 years old in this. Not as bad as Stiles, he was 28 years old. Anyway, the acting is pretty much shit, but it's not the reason i like it. And the story is thin, but again, not why I enjoy it. The film is just corny and cheesy and the wolf costume is ridiculous as hell, LOOKS NOTHING LIKE A WOLF IMO.
I also can't stop laughing when I think about why an entire town of people and other teams that they play in basketball, don't shit their pants as soon as he changes into a wolf on the court. I know if I was there, I would have immediately browned my shorts and sprinted towards the nearest weapon.
Call me crazy if you like, but I just like this film!!
