Tyler Baptist’s review:
Documenting Marina Abramović's retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art and her plans for a new performance piece where she will sit motionless across from spectators 6-days a week for 3 months. Marina Abramović: The Artist is Present tells a story of a strong-willed and strict woman who lives through her art and pushing herself and those around her past the limits of their minds and bodies.
Beautifully photographed and structured, Marina Abramović: The Artist is Present examines the effects of art, in particular the importance of performance art, and the life and love of it's subject.
