"When they need someone gone and they want to erase any trace of the target ever existing, they use specialized assassins, like me, called Loopers."
All in all my expectations for "Looper" were met, and maybe slightly exceeded - but that doesn't make the couple dozen f-bombs (sometimes paired with "mother"), and several instances of s--- and d--- (sometimes paired with "jesus" and "god") among other "less offensive" swear words. However, the amount of swearing in "Looper" seems like nothing…
This movie is heavy on action and light on story; which, if you just want to sit back and watch a bunch of baddies (and a couple good guys) die gruesome deaths at the hands of a super-human chick (and mutant zombies, and giant monsters, amd a Zombie army, and clones...), is completely alright.
This has got to be my new most favorite war film, coming pretty darn close to equalling "Saving Private Ryan" in story, action, and tear-jerking-moments ( Yeah - the end got me pretty good). The only complaints one could have with "Valor" are the couple brief shots with bikini-clad women (though neither are blatantly sensual in nature) and the boat-load of language.
