2016: Obama's America 2012
"Time to take out the trash!" -Elderly lady a few rows in front of me
Yes this actually happened.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 2012
The movie is too painfully predictable and plastic to enjoy. Also, the writing and acting hit deep trenches that range from laughable to just plain excruciating. Decent idea, but poor execution.
-
Adam and Dog 2012
With a Roald Dahl-esque artstyle with a plot similar to that of the heart-breaking Futurama episode "Jurassic Bark", it's a thoughtful and charming look into the beginning of the phrase "Man's best friend".

A Good Day to Die Hard 2013
The dying days of Die Hard. Unintelligent and simple modern day action movie stuff.

A Haunted House 2013
I'm gonna admit it. I laughed at this movie.

Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry 2012
Compelling, beautifully shot, and undeniably powerful, "Never Sorry" gives people who may not know Ai Weiwei a in-depth look into the psych of one of the most influential artists in the world. An extremely impressive documentary.

Alex Cross 2012
What is up with the tone in this? It's not light or anything, but its not dark either. At all. A lot of shit happens and the mood of the movie never EVER changes to reflect that. It's just so boring and monotone. Bleh.

Arbitrage 2012
A fantastic leading performance by Richard Gere sets the tone for this tense and methodical crime thriller. Competent directing and editing let this drama really stretch its legs to get you involved in the story, always wondering how Gere is going to get out of his problem, or if he even will.

A Royal Affair 2012
I was expecting some mushy romance drama, but what I got instead was a political drama. It may not be too bold or surprising, but it's undoubtedly well made with a particularly well-played Christian VII by Mikkel Boe Følsgaard that manages to be comical, cruel, and unpredictable. It's a nice movie and I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the Foreign Language category in a few weeks.
