Army of Darkness 1993
The Evil Dead trilogy is such an interesting thing for me, its like a perfect evolution of a concept and a partnership. There is something for everyone. Serious, comedy and something inbetween. I can totally understand why people might not like AoD since it is batshit with ridiculous camerawork and everything, but that is exactly why it is my favourite.
Bruce Campbell is the most handsome man ever. The bit where he arrives in the windmill to when he takes the necromac is probably his best comedic performance he has ever done. JUST MARRY ME.

Sucker Punch 2011
I think this is my third time trying to finish this film and I just cannot do it. It fills me with so much rage I'm liable to start hulking out. I usually try and watch a film to the end before I give it a rating but this film has officially beaten me.

Where to even start? The 3D? I was kinda bummed that there was no 2D option for this but the 3D was bearable and in places LOOKED FUCKING COOL. The slo-mo, the soundtrack, JESUS CHRIST EVERYTHING. EVERYYTHING WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. How the fuck they managed to get a dingy film to look…
