I remember being blown away when I walked out of the theater and loving it. I guess I was blinded by the beautiful visuals. The next two times I saw it and tried to look past the visuals, I realized how horribly written this was and how average it would be without the amazing 3D visuals and action scenes.
Same as SilentJoe13, I think I was amazed by how good the 3D was (and I still stand by that, the ash falling from the burning trees? MAGIC) but as a film in plain ol' 2D, absolutely gross.
It baffles me, like u2 and Coldplay, it's huge but I don't know a single person who likes it!
