This is my goto film when I can't find anything else to watch, so I'm in trouble now that it's available on Netflix...

I'm so sad that I wrote this off as a Dreamworks clone when it first came up, I think I would have much preferred seeing this in the cinema instead of Up! Cloudy is one of my favourite films OF ALL TIME. Even though its funny and has a talking monkey, its as far removed from Dreamworks usually shoddy releases. It's unique humour and compelling characters really set it apart, and as someone who lives for bright colours in films, the fact that this one contains a rainbow in nearly every scene really appeals to me. The voice acting is SO GOOD. I mean, BRUCE FRIGGING CAMPBELL. But everyone else too. And as a bonus, there are no cringe-worthy dance numbers!
