Part of me thinks this movie is underrated, but the rest of me realizes that every criticism that's been made of it is basically true. It's extremely shaggy, with an odd progression and too much reliance on pot and otherwise lowbrow jokes. But speaking as someone who's never partaken of any kind of recreational drug, it's still pretty damn funny, which is all that really matters. You're either going to find it amusing or not; if you don't, I can't blame you at all. But I think there are plenty of funny bits here, with some hilarious songs, a genuinely great opening sequence, and inspired cameos (I particularly love Amy Poehler). Very silly and not particularly well-made, but I still enjoy it.
