Mychal Stanley’s review published on Letterboxd :
Seems like Wes Anderson has brought some of the cartoon-y sensibilities from Fantastic Mr. Fox to the live action realm with this one. Some great moments of real honest humanity. Some great moments of frantic absurdism. But instead of meshing them together, he seems to draw a distinct line between the two. I prefer the melding of deadpan absurdity with emotional pathos instead, a la The Royal Tenenbaums, which happens here in spurts. Certainly his best since that film.
