The Dead Zone 1983

Allan Mott’s review:
With a smart script that focuses on the right elements of King's book (apparently his own script spent all of its time on the serial killer mystery this version dispatches in 20 minutes) and some truly haunting imagery courtesy of director Cronenberg (making his major Hollywood studio debut), THE DEAD ZONE goes places other tales of the supernatural dare not tread.
