After the great opening and the inventive title sequence, I was thinking that this movie could well be the description of the term 'guilty pleasure' on onlinedictionary.com.
Afterwards I looked it up, it was already there, by the word 'messment', which means: quite a mess, but has some moments of joy.

Just another teen romance slash slasher movie where the hot bodies are made cold one after another. It's pretty generic, but some nice acting and settings, and a well chosen soundtrack makes this a fun enough watch to sit through.

Talk about movies you will not forget having seen them a decade ago, well, this is a perfect example.
A truly mesmerizing experience, which gets more and more uncomfortable as it progresses.
Forget the slashers with axes, true horror, that's surgeons with scalpels.
