The trailer advertised it as a straightforward black comedy, but in fact it is much better than that. Brendan Gleeson is fantastic, a true anti-hero, and some of the photography is stunning. The Irish/Galway countryside is portrayed in all its savage beauty, which contrasts starkly with the brightly-coloured interiors. I'm also a huge sucker for ambiguous endings.
