An interesting concept that is portrayed through an equal amount of exciting and utterly boring scenes. The characters make some ridiculous decisions that you just can't get behind, but that said, almost all of the characters are vibrant and unique (except maybe Katniss and Peeta). At the same time, this is a really well put-together film. Normally I wouldn't have bothered but there's a sort of morbid curiosity that keeps me coming back to the Hunger Games.
