Brainstorm 1983 ★★★

While this movie was interesting in concept, especially for the 80′s, the movie was a little hard to follow. It was almost if they had an idea at the beginning and then switched half way through it. Christopher Walken stars as a researcher who creates a device that can record the brain waves the record sights, smells, and sounds, then they can be played back for peoples enjoyment; basically virtual reality. People start using the device for wrong reasons, which have negative consequences on them. I still find that it is amazing that technology was thought in movies way before it actually exists in reality. I did find it enjoyable and very good 80s sci-fi flick. This also was Natalie Wood’s last film appearance.
