Part of Vprento’s Top 150 Movies of All-Time
Happy Gilmore is Adam Sandler's best film. I have watched this film many times(around 5 or so). It is a masterpiece. You cannot compare a movie like this with movies like "The Shawshank Redemption". It succeeds in what it is set out to do, and that is to make you laugh and tell a nice story. It has flaws, and it isn't logical or realistic. But that doesn't mean that you cannot LOVE and ENJOY this movie. It is amazing. Adam Sandler is goofy as always. His performances wasn't anything award worthy, in fact nowhere near that, but it was funny and interesting. Turn off your brain for 1:30 hours and enjoy this if you haven't already.
