Carl Hudson’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a serious movie. It's not hilarious, though it is funny and sweet. It's a rom-com mixed with a mid-life crisis and a man going through a lot of changes in his life, while getting help and advice on how to change himself (though not to the better, always).
It's a good film, though it halts in some aspects, taking a bit too long to move on. But it's a nice dramedy, with the funny stuff being really funny and the touching stuff actually working for a change. Oh, and it has a set-piece-thing sometime after the halfway-point that is brilliant. It doesn't work out of context but trust me, it's worth seeing just for that scene.
