Best of 2013 - The Anticipated List

Yep, I'm doing it! Same as my "Best of 2012"-anticipated list (which can be found here), only with 2013 titles.

This list is going to be changed as trailers and such flow in, but I'm thinking it'll be locked down as we enter the new year, or possibly early in it. Not sure yet.

As of now, it's not even rated. But that'll come. It's also just big blockbusters here, but those are really the only projects we hear about this early. Expect smaller films to be added as time goes by.

  • If i'm allowed i'll suggest some

    Thor 2
    Man of steel
    Star trek 2
    Monsters university
    The hobbit:there and back again
a good day to die hard
    hangover part 3
    the world's end

  • Of course you're allowed! Added The World's End off your list - didn't see your comment when I added Star Trek 2 and The Hobbit: There and Back Again.

The rest of your mentions are all movies I'm looking forward to, but nothing I'm likely to put on a "Best of"-list at the end of next year (at least I don't think so now. Don't kill me December 2013 if A Good Day to Die Hard, The Hangover 3 or Man of Steel suddenly pop up on the list).

Can't fucking wait to see the new Star Trek, Iron Man and Pacific Rim. Am a bit unsure whether 20,000 Leagues should be here though. Do we know if that's coming in 2013? I am ridiculously excited for it, but I'm thinking it'll be more of a 2015-thing, to be honest. As far as I know, Fincher hasn't even started casting it yet.

  • Great list, I am really excited. Especially Only God Forgives and Alsyium and The World's End. I'd add one, if you don't mind, 12 years a slave. From Steve McQueen. The story sounds amazing and I loved Shame and Hunger. I hope they dont fuck World War Z up.

  • Is 12 years a slave coming next year? Holy shit am I excited for that.

I've read an early draft of the script for World War Z and if they've used that, or parts of it, they've done everything right. So let's cross our fingers that it turns out alright, even after all the reports stating otherwise.
