One of the few videogame adaptations done right. Stays true to it's origin and is really entertaining to watch. Impressive fight choreography, Christopher Lambert as Raiden - you can't get any better than that.
Too bad the sequel is pretty much horrible.
I should add this to my guilty pleasures list. but i can't tell you that this is seriously a good movie. i just can't.
Well I guess it's mostly the "nostalgia goggles mode on" for me. I was playing still fresh MK3 on a daily basis back then when the movie came out.
It's honestly not the worst film ever made, and it's probably one of the better film adaptations, but I'm pretty sure no one would bother to watch it if they DIDN'T have the nostalgic effect nor have a tie to the games.
