Glengarry Glen Ross 1992 ★★★★

An absolute masterclass with some of the best dialogue you'll ever hear. Set in the offices of a real estate company, the salesmen are told that the bottom two salesmen on the board will be fired.
Cue banter on an epic scale from Al Pacino, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey, Alan Arkin, an uttterly superb turn by Jack Lemmon, and the best five minutes Alec Baldwin's ever committed to film.

The plot itself is fairly slight; this is more of an examination of masculinity and the feeling of potential impotence. The drive to be to be top of the sales board is the battle to prove themselves alpha male. One gets the same feeling from the actors themselves and it's an absolute joy to watch one of the finest casts ever assembled butting heads in a foul-mouthed frenzy. Great stuff.
