What can one say about this movie? It is art like, it is brutal, it is silent and it is slow. References made towards the Norse Mythology as the dying believe in the Norse gods and the upcoming of Christianity. A movie that won't explain much to you and gives you much to think about on how to interpret it.
The visual style of this movie is another strong point, though not perfectly finished off and the masks used in the grading and color correction on the characters are from time to time a little sloppy and don't keep up with the movement of the character. But if you don't focus on that, it's just beautiful to look at. Don't expect long dialogues or long brutal scenes. Everything comes in proportions, it's just up to you if you like it or not.
