Wesley Mead’s review:
(on Blu-Ray) A wonderful film on so many levels. It works perfectly as a straight-ahead mystery. It's believeable as a film noir pastiche. It's effective as a paean to an old-fashioned America that no longer exists (and perhaps never did); it's a meditation on the "bugs" that lurk within us all. It's a dark, dark musical; it's the devastating underbelly of a romantic comedy. It's one of the most disturbing horror films you'll ever see, and it's David Lynch's crowning glory.
