Steve Carell is great, as are much of the supporting cast (though I wasn't completely won over by Keira Knightley on this occasion), and I thought the movie struck a good balance between comedic moments and darker elements. The middle stretches were strong and involving, and I liked the ending quite a lot, they stuck the landing well.
