Brilliant. I do think De Palma elevates what could have been a fairly straightforward gangster yarn to something close to perfection with his impeccable command of the camera and skill at staging set-pieces. The extended chase at Grand Central Station certainly rivals and possibly even tops the not dissimilar railway station chase he shot more than a decade earlier in BLOW OUT.
