In Time 2011 ★★★½

Watched Jul 05, 2012

Great concept, somewhat flawed execution. Shot on the Arri Alexa, it looks very impressive (and I say that as a defender to the death of 35mm), and the whole notion that "time is money" is absolutely fascinating. The characters, however, are barely even two-dimensional, and certain plot turns just don't make a great deal of sense. This is particularly apparent in the second half when Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake's characters suddenly decide to become vigilante crusaders for justice, which just comes out of nowhere. Enjoyable for what it is, but on the whole a little forgettable.
