Tracking the Best Picture Nominees
Recently I have made a committment to watch every film ever nominated by the Academy for Best Picture of the Year. Although some of the older films are difficult to find (including one of which, 1928's "The Patriot," is considered a lost film), through a combination of TCM, Netflix, AMC, and other channels it should be possible to complete the task....eventually.
The following is a list of Best Picture nominees I have seen. It will be updated frequently as time goes on.
Years currently completed: 1960, 1962, 1967, 1975, 1976, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010
I'm doing a similar project (entitled Best Picture Project )
, only I'm going in order of release date (with some margin of error if I can't find a title in time).
It's there if you're interested. I haven't tagged all the films I've reviewed so I'll have to fix that.

My Letterboxd counter says I've seen and rated 96% of your list as it stands. I must have missed a couple of oldies. :-)

The real challenge is going to be rating/reviewing all of these once I'm done. I've been keeping some notes on a Word file at home, but I should probably be adding the reviews as I watch them.
