Michael Jackson's: This Is It 2009 ★★

I found this really boring – Michael Jackson is better remembered from his peak years, and this just didn't do him much justice.

  • I have to agree — I wanted to like this a lot more than I did. Still, it was pretty interesting to see how much of a clear vision he had for what he wanted to achieve on stage. It's a crazy world he lived in though, surrounded by yes-men.

Did you watch the extra DVD feature where they look at the costumes he was going to wear? Million-dollar plus kind of stuff. Crazy.

  • No I didn't quite get that far - sounds interesting though. You're right in that he did have a very high standard - from picking the dancers to working with the music team - he wasn't afraid to tell them it wasn't right until he said so.
