    Good solid fun. The Blu-ray certainly looks better than the DVD, however I wouldn't be surprised to learn that this film was originally done in 16mm or something like that to save money.

    Picked up the Criterion Blu-ray and have to say was a bit disappointed. I know that Criterion does the best it can with the original source material that it has, but I was hoping that the Montana landscapes would really pop, however the grain is thick and the negative looks dense and high contrast as though we were looking at an element made from generations old dupes; you almost expect a Ray Harryhausen monster to walk across the frame.
