Loved it. In addition to giving satisfying closure to fans who did not have the privilege of seeing the last show at MSG, the film provided a generous amount of insight into Murphy's creative process and his relationship with music, fame, and the entity that was LCD Soundsystem. I could have done without all the Klosterman pontification, but the juxtaposition of the interview with the other scenes in the movie and the footage of the final concert was a pretty effective way to break up the monotony of tone that tends to plague some rockumentaries and biopics. The concert footage was very well done and quite emotional at points, at least for me. I wanted to get up in the theater and dance at points but that's generally frowned upon, especially if said theater is the Alamo Drafthouse. Recommended not just for fans of the band but for music enthusiasts and people who love New York City.
