Friends with Kids 2012
If you're a fan of the cast then you will enjoy this movie a lot more than someone who is unfamiliar with this laugh riot crew. Clearly Maya Rudolph is total preggers during this film but they do quite a fine job of hiding it. Chris O'Dowd has this weird American accent. He sounds oddly Canadian then from North Dakota. Kudos for the effort. I know in Bridesmaids he was tough to understand at times.

The Avengers 2012
It felt like Iron Man was really the star of this. Please note the poster, it was kind of alluded too. Fun action franchise. Humor and things blowing up, good guys, bad guys, tight outfits and a giant green guy or and the best prop of all: The Thor's Hammer.

Moonrise Kingdom 2012
Being a non-Wes Anderson fan, I was pleasantly surprised by my enjoyment of this film. It's quirky, per the usual W.A., but not so over the top that it doesn't seem slightly plausible.
Perhaps the reason I didn't cringe while watching it was the fact that real main characters (the kids) aren't stars. Seeing famous actors take weird quirky roles it distracting. I think it's a great date night film, but I ask that you don't jump on the crazy bandwagon of hipsters that always go overboard with a film of this nature. It's just a movie people.
