Cracking sci-fi/adventure yarn about small time English hoods who fight back against alien invaders. The CGI monsters were perfect, mostly as a result of their brilliantly clever design. Interestingly, the cast of characters seem underdeveloped at first, but over the course of the film are fleshed out and eventually win you over. Also has a notable soundtrack and great looking cinematography. Very well done stuff.
