Break-neck pace, kinetic style and excellent performances save Point Blank from its otherwise pedestrian thriller set-up. As familiar as Point Blank seems at first, it does have some small surprises up its sleeve -- and is all the better for it. A good thriller executed well can sometimes just hit the spot, and that's how I felt about Point Blank.
