Charles Pierce's (The Town That Dreaded Sundown) period-horror pseudo-slasher is suitably creepy and tense. This one seems to have a bum-rep that it doesn't deserve, though it's no masterpiece. Jessica Harper (Suspiria) puts in a great performance.
