Powerful, harrowing British drama about abuse, depression, alcoholism and anger -- among other things. Fantastic performances from Olivia Coleman and Peter Mullan. A gritty and realistic drama with a seriously dark edge. Not something to put on lightly, but altogether it's a great piece of filmmaking.
