This was such a surprise to me. Anna Kendrick well deserved main lead brought me such joy and Rebel Wilson has me sold as a comedic star. Her lines had me obnoxiously laughing every time she said anything. Plus the music part of it was fantastically executed. I especially loved the scene where they sang "No Diggity" by Blackstreet. Could've done without the love story but it didn't bring the movie down. Overall a fun movie to begin the fall season of "serious" movies.
I didn't expect much out of this movie but wow, it surprised the heck out of me. Lerman surprisingly pulled through as the main lead and Miller brought so much more to the character from the book. Throughout the entire movie you are Charlie and that's what made the book (and now the movie) so special. It also helped when these montages of Charlie's past crept in which happened to be incredibly well edited. I really enjoyed this movie and would happily recommend it to anyone.
