How to Train Your Dragon 2010 ★★★★★

Rewatched Aug 17, 2012

I previously reviewed this film and gave it 3 1/2 stars which is accurate. I'm posting this review for my 2yr old son who absolutely loves it. It's the first movie he's shown a lot of interest in so his review is as follows.

"Whatcha dragon moomie yep?" Whatcha dragon moomie hahaha"

  • @Del. Now, that is just priceless. I needed a good laugh.

  • @Warren Yeah you'll have that. My sons not quite old enough to be doing that yet, but I'm sure he will.

@Del Oh god how do you do it? My wife and I are making a conscience effort to keep the good kids films in the house that way we don't have to endure some of the shit that's out there. I'm sure it'll still happen, but we have to try ; )

  • Damn no way I could bring myself to watch that. I must make sure my son never hears of it ; )

  • @Del Damn I would imagine so. Have you ever seen the fucking teletubbies or whatever they're called? That's some subliminal brainwashing shit going on there with all the fucking weird noises they make.

  • @Del I don't remember how old you're, but is it just me or were kids shows much better when we were kids?

  • Yep so could I. When I was a kid even toys were better. Transformers were made out of fucking metal.

  • Duck Tales, nothing beats that, NOTHING.

  • @ron yes they were. After around 2000 the quality just started dropping.

TMNT, Duck Tales, ... most of what you said, Tail spin, Swat Kats, Tom & Jerry kids, Dexter's Lab and etc ...

    I miss them :(

  • I liked Darkwing Duck, but it only ran for a year or something like that, and think it was considered a Duck Tales spin-off. But what can't be beaten, regardless of it's time, is Batman: The Animated Series.

  • Wow. Some great series listed there. Did you know there is apparently a sequel series coming to Cities of Gold? Saw a French trailer a while back.

Used to love that series. And MASK. MASK ruled all. I had a boulder hill set (was that its name) and everything.

Always pissed off that the Dungeons and Dragons kids never got him though.

PS Your son nailed it, HYTYD is a 5 :)
