Some nice moments ruined by silly comedy and ridiculous plot points. Who sent 'Arnold' Terminator back to protect Sarah? Who sent the T-1000 to 1984.
It also seems to have erased a Terminator 2 Judgement Day which is a BIG no-no!
It could have been fairly decent, there were some good ideas - heck the future stuff with John and Kyle taking the time displacement facility was great and better than anything we saw in Salvation. Just a shame those good points were bogged down and buried.
My final thoughts are this; Jai Courtney, please stop acting.
Went in expecting an absolute train wreck, but I am sucker for ghost/demon movies. Came out quite satisfied. It was a lot better than the dreadful second movie. Maybe not as good as the first but it did well.
Yes, the jump scares were aplenty, but they felt more natural this time instead of just BOOM GOTCHA.
No doubt there will be another iteration of this series in a few years, but I fail to see where the series can go from here; at least for Elise and her ghost-hunter buffoons.
