Green Zone only gets interesting after the first hour, which is a shame because the second half finally captures that narrative thrust missing all throughout the beginning.
The film relies too much on plot and in so doing gives up too many opportunities for us to look into what makes these characters tick.
In the end, Green Zone is a topical film, so it'll only be interesting to people who care about the politics of WMD and the Iraq War. Too bad, because John Powell's score really is kickass here.
