One day I laced the shoes I bought five years ago with one more knot than usual. Because I was going out. I was going out to find something and not to come back. Leave the sun behind me. Where I'm going I don't need luck or faith just my two hands.

What a way to begin 2021. And so fitting for a holiday as well, because I think this is one that I will continually revisit as I grow older and even old and I progress in my life. I'll concede that I understood about 50% of this film, but that didn't really matter in the long run. Shocking, chilling, and overwhelming in the same way Fury Road is, and though I do still like Fury Road better, this was pretty damn good. I have to mention Sofia Boutella as well, she was absolutely awesome.
I can't WAIT to watch this on the big screen someday.
