I still think the film loses momentum when Thelma goes home to her parents. But I love the opening scene; love the sexual tension and repression (reminded me of Black Swan at times when it showed the danger, darkness, and disturbance of overwhelming sexual awakening and desire); loved the beautiful scenery, symbolism and metaphoric imagery; and loved Thelma and Anya. It wasn’t perfect; in fact it raised a lot of interesting ideas and questions that were left undeveloped and unanswered. But there was enough going on to keep me hooked.
Sometimes a person excites you so much you lose control and pee yourself. It happens!
