It's my birthday today, so I decided to invite my family to watch Won't You Be My Neighbor? with me, since it’s one of my favorite movies to just sit down and relax to. When I first saw this, I honestly had very little idea of who Mr. Rodgers even was. I just saw a good average rating and positive reviews from people I follow, and I decided to check it out.

And man, I just love this documentary so…

    THE GREAT MCU WATCH-THROUGH #22

DISCLAIMER: This is my favorite movie of all time, so I will take full opportunity to gush about this film all I want.

I remember when I saw this in theaters. It was the most magical movie experience of my life. I was really afraid that I wouldn't like it as much second time around. Boy, was I wrong.

I love this film so much, maybe too much. This film takes eleven years…

THE GREAT HARRY POTTER WATCH-THROUGH #6

Wow, this was SO much better than I remembered, not quite as good as Order of the Phoenix but definitely close. And I'm starting to see a trend in the 4th, 5th and 6th Harry Potter movies. The first two acts are mostly comedy, and the third act is a huge, emotionally devastating masterpiece.

Here, the first two thirds are mostly about romance and potions—and frankly, I was a bit bored. The pacing was…

THE GREAT HARRY POTTER WATCH-THROUGH #5

This has always been my favorite Harry Potter film, which is kind of strange, because Order of the Phoenix is my least favorite of the books. But I just can't deny the power of this film. It's similar to Goblet of Fire in that the first two thirds consist mostly of comedy and world-building, and the last third just punches you in the gut and demands that you cry.

    The thing is, the Professor…

THE GREAT HARRY POTTER WATCH-THROUGH #4

Well, the first two-thirds of the film are not that great, but MAN, that last third is fantastic. It might just be me who doesn’t like the Tri-wizard Tournament—I like it even less in the film than in the book. It just feels kind of boring, I don't know why. I don't care whether Harry wins, and it feels like an artificial plot device designed to keep the viewer entertained until the real great…

    Paddington 2

After watching Paddington 2, you'll be happy for the rest of the day, even if it's drizzling and really gloomy outside (which it is).

Upon the rewatch, I've decided I like Paddington 2 better than its predecessor. I've changed my opinion for a couple of reasons. The main thing is it's just so much funnier. The jokes are so, so, so hilarious.

The cast is also much better. Hugh Grant's performance is so delightfully selfish. Ben Whishaw is absolutely perfect
