  Honestly really enjoyed the look into napoleons relationship with his wife. At once there is a real off-undertone about their relationship but also with their honesty a real bond. A very complex little shindig that did not need the extra hour or so. I felt the action sequences whilst impressive at times felt a bit cheap and a lot of the time rather irrelevant to what seems to be the focus of this film, the more private side of napoleons…

  My GOD I did not like this film

  This has some of the worst acting I’ve seen all year (although Adrien Brody was a glimmer of hope) The cinematography is a hodge podge of stolen ideas. Absolutely nothing wrong with stealing but this has no coherence or link to the themes of the film. The themes of which are so thrown in your face in the bluntly written dialogue and rarely dealt with visually.
